As a venue to meet and share ideas, the Cité de la Solidarité Internationale arranges regular events for the cross-boarder network International Solidarity organisations.
Annual events on an international scale are organised to respond to the questions and needs both of NGOs and of existing / prospective solidarity agencies.
Salon des Métiers de l’Humanitaire (Humanitarian Careers Fair)
Held once every two years in Annemasse, the Salon des Métiers de l'Humanitaire is a important international solidarity event in France. This mus stage of the Tour de France Humanitaire is the initiative of the Institute Bioforce Development, an active partner of the Cité de la solidarité Internationale.

A cross-boarder symposium dedicated to NGOs
Cross-Boarder symposium of the Cité de la Solidarité Internationale in 2011 : « NGO-Business relations, potential avenues for joint actions?».
Professionals from business et international solidarity came to more than 140 persons to witness about their Business-NGO partnerships.
- Cross-boarder symposium of the Cité de la Solidarité Internationale in 2009 : "Funding NGOs: a cross-border perspective".
A number of major donors came to present their financial means and NGO collaboration programme to the 130 professionals in attendance.
