


The Henry Dunant Latin America Foundation is an NGO with its headquarters in Santiago de Chili, Chile. Its president is Mrs Ximena ERAZO.
Henry Dunant University College in Geneva It is a sister NGO of the Henry Dunant University College in Geneva.and its role is to promote the human rights by organising training programmes on this theme.
The foundation designs courses intended principally for those working in the state sector, international bodies, NGOs and universities from a number of Latin American countries. Since 2006, in Santiago de Chili, 327 people have received training as part of international degree courses specialising in economic, social and cultural rights and public policies (under the governance of various UN agencies and the government of Chile).
The foundation has recently opened a French branch of the Henry Dunant Latin America Foundation, known as the Henry Dunant Association France / Latin America, and has chosen to set up its office in the Cité de la Solidarité Internationale. Mrs Danièle-Anne RENS, the foundation’s vice-president, will head the French office which will relocate to new premises within the Cité de la Solidarité Internationale at the beginning of August 2010.
Its areas of activity will be to:
11/ Provide training courses and work placements on the field of human rights
2/ Seek out candidates for work placements and training courses
3/ Organise work placements and training courses in Annemasse
4/ Promote exchanges and cooperation between public and private sector stakeholders in Latin America and Europe
